Sunset rose is a combination of my two HC oc ideas. Cure Sunset and Cure Rosebud.
Cure Rosebud, or Nonochi Mikiba, feels she isnt a proper Cure because her flower in immature and hasn't bloomed, therefore, she feels she doesnt have a place with the others. She finds out the reason she doesnt have a fairy is because it belongs to Cure Sunset, or Nanao Yuki, who is good friends with Yuri. It turns out Cure Rosebud is made of the power and energy remaining from Cure Moonlight and Cure Sunset. This makes Mikiba even more depressed and she refuses to fight with the Cures any longer. Her wilting heart flower was stolen and it was only when Cure Sunset saved her that she decided to fight with her power again. When Cure moonlight regained her powers, Dark Precure attacked her with Dark forte wave before she could transform, but Cure sunset jumped in the way taking a direct hit and having her Heart Seed damaged in the process. No longer being able to transform, she gives her fairy to Cure Rosebud, saying shes had the power to be a proper cure all on her own, finally allowing her to transform into Cure Rose. Later on, after the Heart tree grants Cure Sunset the ability to transform, but only with a new Heart Seed that changes her to Cure Twilight. After this, they have a dual transformation and turn into Cure Sunset Rose when they are together.
